Design Concept: G.I. Jane
Give an insight of your design concept:
My design is based on a femme fatale – G.I. Jane – as portrayed by Demi Moore in the 1997 film with the same name. In the film, G.I. Jane is not only faced with psychical challenges but hounded by issues of sexism as well. It shows how a woman can rise against the odds and shine. I infused the same spirit into my own designs, as well as taking this concept further by showing you the softer side of a strong woman.

Design Concept: Flower Angel
Give an insight of your design concept:
My inspiration came from the flower angel, the poem. This poem gives me a very sweet feeling companied with a fragrant smell. Thus, I specially dye the fabric using tea. My design is more to avant-garde. I wanted to portray a sexy yet innocent look of a flower angel. This is done with the used of silk chiffon to make the semi transparent layering skirt effect; linen to make the 3D flower petals on both bra cup.

Alice Jiang Ying (from China)

Design Concept: Dita Von Teese
Give an insight of your design concept:
In my design, her gothic temperament is maintained, in which black is used as the main tone. Only the framework is maintained in the corselet made of fishbone in black ribbons, which is light and sexy. Complemented by embroidered bra and T-back, her graceful and enchanting temperament as the gothic queen is fully exhibited. The overall design is enriched by draggling headwear and black stocking suspender and the noble demeanor as the gothic queen further emphasized.
